Old crocodile

Abbot Peter visited Big Bert in the Humboldt Museum July 30. Big Bert is a crocodile that was found in the rocks on the Carrot River in east- central Saskatchewan. He is about 92 million years old. Big Bert was 19 feet long and weighed over 500 pounds. This display is in the Humboldt Museum during a province-wide tour.

It is the best preserved and most complete sample of this species of crocodile ever found
