St. Peter’s Press

Founded over 100 years ago by the monks of St. Peter’s Abbey, St. Peter’s Press is locally owned and operated.  The monks’ first publication was a German, Catholic newspaper, St. Peter’s Bote, starting from 1904 to 1937.  In 1931 an English version of the same paper was printed under the name St. Peter’s Messenger (and then Prairie Messenger) and still continues to this day.  St. Peter’s Press is currently printing  numerous publications and custom signs for clients across the province and Canada.   Abbot Peter Novecosky, O.S.B., is currently acting Editor of the Prairie Messenger Catholic Journal published weekly by St. Peter’s Press and syndicated across the country.
