Christmas flowers and the Christmas tree were put up in the Abbey church on Dec. 24
and will be taken down again after the Christmas season ends on Jan. 8

Outdoor Christmas Wreath
The Advent wreath provides a setting for the Christmas outdoor display. It was -31
Celsius on family day Dec. 26.
Christmas Tree
The community gathered around the Christmas tree Sunday afternoon to open presents
that have been received.
There were spectacular Sundogs Christmas morning here at the Abbey
Br. Basil and visitor Francis put up a symbol for the O antiphons that are sung at
Vespers the last week before Christmas.
A Christmas coffee social was held, December 18, for St. Peter’s Abbey Benedictines, staff and volunteers.
