Anglican Bishop Chris Harper of Saskatoon spoke to the students at St. Peter’s College March 24. He also spoke on March 23 on ministering to Indigenous communities to The Pas clergy who were here on retreat, and the monastic community.
Br. Benedict spent the three weeks of March 7 – 25 working at the University of Saskatchewan library. He is completing his Library and Information Technology Diploma.

Deer are scrounging for food on the abbey grounds, after finishing off the corn stalks in the garden. Several deer have been found dead, likely of starvation. The record-deep snow makes it difficult to find grass to eat.
These tomato plants were planted at the end of January and Br. Kurt hopes to have them producing nice, ripe tomatoes early this summer in the greenhouse.
