Fr. Lawrence celebrated his 60th anniversary of priestly ordination at Holdfast May 21st. He was joined by Archbishop Bolen of Regina, Abbot Peter and Deacon Harper. Parishioners from Craig and Dilke joined the congregation of Holdfast.

May 13 was a busy day for planting the garden at St. Peter’s Abbey. Here Br. Basil is watching Neil and Paul planting potatoes. And then Neil planted the first of the corn, which we hope will  ripen before the frost comes.

Br. Kurt checks out the tomato plants he has started, which will be ready to transplant shortly. The monks enjoy the flavour of home grown tomatoes in the abbey greenhouse.
