The Abbey church was full for our Christmas Eve mass at 9 o’clock. The hymns before mass featured Silent Night sung in five different languages, including Vietnamese.

St. Peter’s Abbey monks gathered with the staff and volunteers for a pre-Christmas coffee party on Dec. 14.

Poets Jane Munro of Vancouver, right, and Catherine Lawrence of Saskatoon gave a poetry reading at St. Peter’s College library Nov. 30.

Br. Anthony took part in the celebration in Saskatoon for the Vietnamese martyrs Nov. 24. The church featured a statue of Saint Andrew Dung-Lac who was one of 117 canonized by Pope John Paul II in 1988.
