Volunteer Joseph celebrated Mother’s Day at the abbey by making some paper flowers and giving them to the ladies at our Sunday Mass.

While spring is a welcome season at the abbey, it also involves cleaning up the gardens and grounds. In late April, Our novices helped pick some stones from the garden, assisted by two guests, Jan and Joseph.

A grass fire on Abbey land north of Highway 5 occurred on Easter Monday. It burnt up a section of the grass in the tree grove planted some years ago.
