Lydia and Vincent and their two girls held a farewell come and go on Sunday, June 26. They arrived in Canada almost 3 years ago and they’re now moving to Ontario.

The general chapter at Saint Benedict’s Abbey in Atchison, Kansas elected a new Abbot President for the congregation June 23. Br. Benedict congratulated Fr Jonathan Licari of St. John’s Abbey who was elected.

Abbot Peter and Br. Benedict attended the general chapter of the American Cassinese congregation at Atchison, Kansas, June 19-24. The meeting is held every three years.

Br. Denys and Br. Benedict returned June 7 from their two-week pilgrimage to the Holy Land. They also took a side trip to Holland for a couple of days to visit a monastery and the birthplace of Br. Benedict’s father. The pilgrimage was part of the theology course Br. Denys is taking at St. John’s Abbey.
