Abbot Peter and Br. Anthony visited Fr. Rudolph Novecosky in St. Paul’s Hospital
Saturday, Oct. 7 and celebrated the anointing of the sick with him. He was admitted
to the hospital on Sept. 28 to deal with cancer of the bladder.

Abbot Peter took part in the Sept. 29 to Oct. 2 meeting of the Association of
Treasurers and superiors of Religious Institutes in Montreal.

As secretary for the assembly of bishops in Western Canada Abbot Peter is attending
the annual plenary assembly of the Canadian bishops Sept. 25-29 in Cornwall, Ont.

The abbey received 6/10 of an inch of rain Sept. 19. The all day gentle rain was on
the same day as a 7.1 earthquake hit Mexico and that Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico
as a category five storm.
