The special “0” antiphons are sung at Vespers beginning Dec. 17. They are always sung  a week before Christmas to remind us of the coming of the Messiah. These beautiful sketches are a gift of the Ursulines of Bruno.

The Monks and the staff of St. Peter’s Abbey got together on Dec. 16 for A pre-Christmas celebration in the afternoon.

Geoff Bennetto was formally accepted as a candidate at Saint Peter’s Abbey on Dec  7 at Vespers. He begins six months of formation as a Benedictine.

Each Advent season the abbey community celebrates with an Advent wreath in the dining room. Joseph Do lights the candle for the first week of Advent on Saturday, Nov. 27.
