The monks had a good harvest of potatoes this year. The potatoes were picked on August 19 and have been stored in the cellar for use during the winter.

Both the monastic community and our neighbours were happy when the U-pick corn season opened the weekend of Aug. 8.

The 99th annual pilgrimage at Mt. Carmel was celebrated Sunday, July 18. It turned out to be a beautiful, cool day with more than 300 pilgrims present. Bishop Mark Hagemoen presided at the festive Mass.
