The Father Joe Park was opened on Oct. 12 in Bruno. It’s a new playground
for families and children. Mayor Dale Glessman said they had a contest
throughout the summer where kids could submit names for the new park.
“Father Joe has had a big influence on the community. No matter where he
goes, all the kids know him,” explained Glessman on why Father Joe Park was
the perfect name. Fr. Joe, now retired over a year, was the pastor in Bruno
for almost 20 years.
A large crowd of friends, family and clergy took part in the funeral Mass
for Fr. Rudolph Novecosky, Oct. 13 at St. Augustine Church, Humboldt.
Br. Wolfgang fell and broke a hip bone on Monday, Oct. 9. He had an operation Oct.
10 at Royal University Hospital to put a pin in his hip bone area. He is recovering
nicely.

he rest in peace. Keep him in your prayers. Will have to make funeral arrangements
