Abbot Peter Blessed
Abbot Peter was blessed (finally!) as abbot of St. Peter’s on May 12, 2022 in the abbey church by Bishop Mark Hagemoen of Saskatoon. He had been re-elected on Oct. 27, 2020, but his blessing was delayed because of Covid19. The clergy of Saskatoon who were on retreat at the abbey took part in the celebration.
Fixing The Bells
A new hammer had to be installed to ring the hours and other repairs made to the bells on our Abbey belltower May 9.
Preparing Potatoes
Benedictine Oblate Annette and Fr. Cosmas prepared potatoes on May 9 for planting this spring.
