Martin Nguyen and family were met by Abbot Peter and Br. Anthony at their arrival in Saskatoon airport Oct. 2. Martin will begin his job as cook in the abbey kitchen this week.

Abbot Peter attended the annual meeting of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops in King city, Ontario, the week of Sept. 25.

More than $100,000 in scholarships and bursaries was awarded to students at St. Peter’s college on Saturday, September 23.

The Abbey elevator started being repaired on Sept. 11 after years of waiting for repairs. The Monks and guests will be pleased when it’s completed in a few weeks.
