The Chaldean community of Saskatoon spent a day at the abbey July 20 for a retreat and relaxation.

A crowd of about 1,000 pilgrims attended the pilgrimage at Mount Carmel on July 16. Bishop Hagemoen of Saskatoon presided at the Mass. Pilgrimages have been held annually since they began in 1922.

The potato field is blooming and looks healthy this July. Br. Kurt guarantees there are no potato bugs or weeds in the garden.

The monks unloaded three hospital beds July 7, which they received from the Sisters of St. Joseph in Saskatoon.
