The supports for the solar panels at St. Peter’s Abbey arrived on May 7. The first row of piles was driven into the ground that afternoon. 

Candidate Joseph repaints the names on the tombstones in the Abbey cemetery. This will make it easier to identify the monks who are buried here.

It is early May and our Saskatoon bushes appear to be showing signs of buds that are greening.  We look forward to harvesting in late June or early July.  Last fall we did some major pruning of the bushes.

On April 27, Abbot Peter’s niece, Theresa, made a surprise visit to the abbey with a delicious homemade birthday cake.  We had a good time celebrating.
