November is the month of praying for the dead. On Nov. 2 the pictures of our deceased monks were added to our church and will be removed at the end of November.

The Abbey’s new Vietnamese cook, Martin and family, sponsored a Vietnamese supper for the monks on Sunday, Oct. 29. This was in thanksgiving for the Abbey sponsoring them to Canada.

After spending 53 days at Parkridge Centre in Saskatoon for physical rehabilitation, Fr. Daniel was moved Oct. 20 to Saint Mary’s Villa in Humboldt for assessment.

Ruth Wilson made her final profession as an oblate at St. Peter’s Abbey on Oblate day, Oct. 14.
