Br. Wolfgang shows off the wasp nest he found in the Abbey woods. Luckily after a
busy summer building their house the wasps abandoned it this fall.

Br. Anthony shows read retreatants Agnes Pelletier and Linda Labelle pictures of the
deceased monks of St. Peter’s Abbey. Friday Nov. 6 was observed as a special day of
prayer for the deceased of our community and their pictures are hung in the church.

Oblate Day – Three new candidates became Oblates, October 24, at Oblate Day Mass celebrated by Abbot Peter Novecosky, OSB. Making their First Oblations were: Shirley and Bernie Karstad and Edgar Neudorf of Saskatoon, right. Jackie Saretsky, left, and Barbara Saretsky made their Final Oblations.

Bernie and Shirley Karstad ate supper with the Monks on Sunday, October 25. Joining them are Br. Pierre and Br. Basil. Bernie and Shirley have spent the summer at the Abbey farm house and will be leaving for their new condo in Saskatoon in early November.
